This policy covers both the DumDum Sale-Price Predictor browser extension and the dumdum.fyi website that backs it. Both are operated by the same individual maintainer.
To answer prediction requests, the backend caches publicly available real-estate listing data (sale history, list prices, square footage, etc.) scraped from public sources. This data is about properties, not about you. Predictions are not associated with any individual user.
The extension stores one setting locally — the backend URL it should
contact (default https://dumdum.fyi) — using Chrome's
storage.sync API. Chrome's standard sync behavior may
replicate this value across your signed-in Chrome profiles. We have no
access to it.
storage — to remember the configured backend URL.zillow.com, redfin.com,
and realtor.com — to detect property pages and inject the
prediction widget.dumdum.fyi — to fetch predictions
from the backend. The service is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy materially changes we will update the date above. The current version always lives at https://dumdum.fyi/privacy.
